Henderson base: 1 Permanent and 1 Fixed term position - Male only

Otahuhu base: 2 Fixed term positions – Male only

Mon – Fri 8:30am - 4:30pm

Casual Positions (Male and Female)

Otahuhu AND Henderson, Mon – Fri 8:30am - 3:00pm

$35,360 - $39,520 / 17-$19 Depending on skills and experience for all positions

We are looking for experienced individuals to join our committed team in the field of Intellectual/Dual Disability with High and Complex needs.

Someone who has proven experience or understanding of “Life Skills and Day Services”. Superb people skills are a must, as you’ll be liaising with clients, their families, health agencies and potential employers.

Expectations of this role include community support of individual and groups of clients as well as facilitation of day and life skills programmes.

The goal of our service is to provide clients with a sense of identity, self confidence and practical skills to lead successful lives within the community of their choice.

Essential Criteria:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• The ability or aptitude to facilitate day and life skills programmes
• Exceptional people skills and ability to network
• A commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi and culturally safe practice
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Understanding of and/or experience in disability support services
• A current clean Full Drivers Licence
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand

Desirable criteria:

• Experience in Health/Disability sector, supporting/training or teaching and aiding clients in achieving their goals.
• A Certificate/Diploma in Mental Health or an appropriate qualification is not necessary but preferred.
