This is an opportunity to explore simple and easy ways of boosting and maintaining your wellbeing. Each week you will meet as a group to explore one of the 5 ways – Be Active, Connect, Give, Keep Learning, Take Notice, and then you will also meet one of the facilitators for an individual session where you can focus more on what wellbeing means to you and how you can build it into your everyday life. The 5 Ways to Wellbeing is promoted by The Mental Health Foundation as a way to help people stay mentally well.

Chill and be with others your own age. This is a space where you can be yourself and build your social confidence at your own pace. Activities will be decided by the group so bring along your ideas.

Experience a relaxed social time where you can meet new people and improve social skills, gain confidence being with others while exploring fun and interesting activities in the community. You are welcome to share your ideas of activities for the group.

A group to improve your kitchen and food prep knowledge, skills and safety as well as buying the best deal on a budget. Each week you will shop, prep and cook a different recipe and sit down together to enjoy the meal.

Would you like to meet like minded people while sharing your love of reading? This is an opportunity to explore different genre and styles in a safe and friendly environment. No matter how long or short, bring along and share what you’re reading and discover new books to expand your interests.

Have you ever bought something only to find it’s broken? Have you ordered a meal and they got your order wrong? Did you wish you were more confident so you could have returned it or complained? Join our group to learn to be more assertive and build your confidence so you can get what you need out of your work life, social life and participation in the community.

Do you know about all the different cultures in your community? Auckland has a vast number of people from different cultures. Get to know about some of them by listening to stories from those who have made N.Z. their new home.

Exercise is great for the body and the mind and it’s even better when you’re working out with others. This is a great opportunity to try some new exercise techniques and equipment, get your sweat on and motivate and support others while they motivate and support you to reach your physical wellbeing goals. So get your workout gear on and come along for a fun group session with a personal trainer.

Keen to get started on being able to drive a car? Join us to learn the NZ Road Code and practice official tests until you’re ready to sit the real thing. We can also support you to create a saving plan to pay for your Learner Driver Licence test.

Come and experience engaging activities to strengthen your team building skills. Get better at problem solving, sharing your ideas and achieving a goal together. Being able to work well in a team is a great skill to have, not only for working but for being part of the community and getting on well with people in everyday life.
